Landfill Blower or Digester Biogas Systems

Multistage Centrifugal Blowers for Biogas Systems
ENERGY-SAVING BIOGAS SYSTEMS – AND MORE

A biodigester system utilizes organic waste, particularly animal and human excreta, to produce fertilizer and biogas. A bio digester consists of an airtight, high-density polyethylene container within which excreta diluted in water flow continuously and are fermented by microorganisms present in the waste. A Biogas Digesters can be classified as high rate (contact stabilization, fixed film, suspended media, and sequencing batch), and as passive (covered lagoons), low rate (complete mix, plug flow, mixed plug flow). All reactors perform the same basic function, but each type operates at an optimal manure consistency.

Lone Star Blower and Compressor offers the total blower system to solve your biogas and landfill gas digester system needs. Our Solutions offer a wide range of features and incorporated energy efficient improvements for municipal and industrial biogas treatment plants that comply with the strictest landfill and biogas operational requirements, meeting tough requirements and more, for a variety of applications. We will assist you from the design (blower sizing for biogas treatment), layout (air blower piping designs), installation, and ongoing support and service.

Biogas and Landfill Treatment applications include Biogas Blowers, Landfill Gas Blower, Digester Biogas, Gas to Energy, Siloxane Removal Systems, Remediation Blowers, Methane Blower, Digester Gas Blower, Biogas Compressor, Landfill Gas exhauster, Flare Blower, Air Assist Flares, Landfill Gas Extraction, Landfill Gas Extraction, Landfill gas to energy, Landfill Gas Extraction Blower Systems, Vacuum For Landfill Gas Extraction, Regenerative Blowers for Landfill Gas, Anaerobic Digestion, Exhausters for Landfill Gas Applications, and more . They all have a need for either a Multistage Centrifugal Blower, High-Speed Turbo Blowers, or Engineered or Packaged System, which are rotating machines able to increase the pressure for air or gasses or vacuum applications.

Multistage Centrifugal Blower (MSCB) – The multistage centrifugal blower (MSCB) is usually coupled directly with an induction motor driveshaft. The design principles for the MSCB are fairly simple: for more flow, increase the impeller diameter; for more pressure, increase the number of impellers (stages). Like all centrifugal machines, the impeller configuration has a large effect on the performance of a MSCB. Lone Star’s MSCB can have two to 16 stages and any number of impeller geometries to create the desired flow and pressure curve.

Lone Star Rental has hundreds of compressors and blowers complete with motor starters, variable frequency drives, PLC controls for network integration and remote monitoring to get you what you need when you need it.

If you are in need of an emergency rental, Lone Star is far more than just a rental company.  An ISO 9001 and UL-508A manufacturer of blowers and compressors, with control panels.  We can also completely support your existing equipment for services.

All products are completely oil free compression.

Biogas

Biogas is produced naturally by anaerobic bacteria in municipal solid waste landfills and is called landfill gas. Landfill gas with a high methane content can be dangerous to people and the environment because methane is flammable. Methane is also a strong greenhouse gas.

Gas-to-Energy

A facility where landfill gas is de-watered, filtered, compressed, and then piped directly to an on-site electricity generating engine or turbine.

Landfill Gas Extraction Systems

A Landfill Gas Extraction System create a negative pressure in the well field to transfer the gas to the flare station or engine for co-generation.

Biogas digesters

Biogas Digesters receive organic matter, which decomposes in a digestion chamber. The digestion chamber is fully submerged in water, making it an anaerobic (oxygen-free) environment. The anaerobic environment allows for microorganisms to break down the organic material and convert it into biogas.

Anaerobic Digestion

Anaerobic digestion is a process through which bacteria break down organic matter—such as animal manure, wastewater biosolids, and food wastes—in the absence of oxygen.

Landfill Gas to Energy

Landfill gases are fed into a collection system which consists of a series of wells drilled into a landfill through a plastic piping system to later produce electricity. Basically, the gas is collected using specialized collection systems before they are evacuated from the landfill and then compressed using blowers and compressors.

Flare Blower

Air-assisted flares use blowers to inject assist air directly into the waste gas stream as it exits the tip, resulting in smokeless burning and long flare tip life.
